Abstract

Dreams contain a mixture of imagery derived from waking consciousness  and other images that have little connection to waking awareness.  Although research on the continuity hypothesis has concentrated on the dreams of contemporary individuals, not much attention has been given to the dreams of historical individuals. The current article focuses how this continuity hypothesis is applicable to the dream narratives appearing in the Hebrew Bible and Jewish Pseudepigraphic literature.
