Abstract

Archaeozoology as part of the scientific sesearch work of Olga Necrasov

The paper is devoted to the investigations performed by the great, late scientist that was Olga Necrasov, in the field of archaeozoology, a domain of scientific interest she actually created and to the development of which she brought a substantial contribution. The author highlights the complex themes approached by Olga Necrasov in the studies authored either by herself or together with her coworkers, the scientific concerns exceeding the biological frame work by their numerous social implications and – consequently – drawing the attention of specialists in biology, history and archaeology.
