Abstract

A Discovery from the First Iron Age in Tecuci (Galaţi County)

During some construction works undertaken in the town of Tecuci, Galaţi county, on the Unirii Street, several ceramic fragments were recovered, probably from a garbage pit. The pottery belongs to the second period (Vânători) of the cultural group of Tămăoani. The most remarkable find is a pot with limbo, decorated with a strip of carved lines.
