Precizari cronologice si culturale privind doua piese feudale timpurii din Câmpia Munteniei

Abstract

The author examines two bronze things, a belt-tongue and an anthropozoomorphic amulet, publishcd by V. Pârvan and dated by him in the bronze and Hallstatt period. On the basis of some analogies the two pieces are placed chronologically and cultural in the VIIth—IXth centuries A.D. and assigned to the nomad populations, the Avars and the Bulgars, who penetrated temporarily in the regions situated in the north of the Lower Danube.
