Zur Theorierezeption in der Ur- und Frühgeschichte in Ostösterreich seit 1945

Abstract

The amount to which theory guides eastern Austrian archaeology is largely unexplored. Based on a sample of unpublished Student theses and papers and monographs published in eastern Austria, this question is examine d and  reasons for observable tendencies and the current Status quo are discussed in this study. The paradigm of Austrian archaeology and the role of Wilhelm Angeli in theorizing and defending is discussed.
