Zehn Thesen zu einer Archäologie der Moderne

Abstract

On the basis of ten theses, potentials but also problems of an archaeology of the 19^th to the 21^st century are shown and brought up for discussion. The author regards the archaeology of contemporary past as a vital part of a global archaeology, which is embodied in monument conservation practice and its administrative and legal framework in Germany and which is increasingly gaining importance whithin the museum landscape.
