Abstract
The paper deals with the question: What can be considered as an adequate remuneration in the private archaeological labour market? First, the basic terms on the subject of remuneration are explained and various remuneration models are compared with each other. Furthermore, in connection with the comparability of wages, the question of the economic location of the “private archaeology” sector is asked.
