Special Series 1: Covid-19 Pandemic in Ibero-America
The contributions in this series address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Ibero-American societies. The papers cover a range of topics related to the communicative, discursive, political, military, cultural, and environmental dimensions of the pandemic. They provide interdisciplinary perspectives on the impact of the pandemic across the region. The working papers shed light on the immediate challenges posed by the crisis as well as on its long-term implications for social cohesion, governance, and cultural transformation in Ibero-America.

The Working Papers of the Observatory of spanish in Europe are working documents that address key issues for the demographic and social analysis of Spanish in the European context. They aim to disseminate preliminary results, to open debate lines, and share innovative approaches to Spanish in Europe. In addition, the series includes Policy Briefs oriented to inform linguistic policy decisions and strategies.
