In 1994, Fritz Mitthof and Amphilochios Papathomas published twenty documents belonging to the archive consisting of the re-editions of papyri from Berlin, Bonn and Alexandria as well as new pieces from Berlin, Heidelberg and Prague (<ref ana="hc:ExternalLink" target="https://papyri.info/biblio/86266">Mitthof and Papathomas 1994</ref> = <ref ana="hc:ExternalLink" target="https://papyri.info/hgv/36912">SB 22 15739</ref>–<ref ana="hc:ExternalLink" target="https://papyri.info/hgv/37091">15756</ref>). </note> Crossing out is a sign that the delivery of oil was completed and the order was returned to its issuer, Theon.</p>
<p n="4" xml:id="p4">Like the majority of papyri in this archive, it is an order for delivery of oil addressed to Sambas the oil-maker, which have the following pattern: main body + date + signature + subscription of the scribe + ‘Kürzel’/ tachygraphic signs (see below), as in <ref ana="hc:ExternalLink" target="https://papyri.info/hgv/130552">P.Prag. 3 228</ref>. The text is written by two hands, with a subscription in Theon’s hand between the body text and the signature of the main scribe: usually it is placed after the signature, but the pattern found here is typical for contemporary contracts or orders and receipts.</p>
<p n="5" xml:id="p5">Although fragmentary, only the identity of the person to whom the oil was to be delivered and the exact date of the order are lost.</p>
