Un topor de luptă prefeudal descoperit la Suceava

Abstract

In 1983, in the waterside of the Suceava river, 2 kms. south-east front the town, an iron fighting axe was discovered by chance and it was dated 8th-10th centuries. The type of this piece can be registered among the discoveries of fighting axes which appear quire rarely on Roniania’s territory or in the Eastern and Central Europe.
