The Kingdom of Farzoios and Inismeus

The analysis of historical sources, archaeological or numismatic discoveries (the graves from Hruška, Porogi and Cazaelia) proves the existence of a confederation of Sarmatian tribes (Alans and Aorsae) during the second half of the Ist c. A.D. On several objects and coins the seals of the kings Farzoios and Inismeus were identified. Their kingdom was situated north of the Black Sea and it included the eastern Dacia, i.c. the territory between the Prut and Dniestr rivers.
