About the Journal

The new journal ‘Pegasus. Beiträge zum Nachleben antiker Kunst und Architektur’ offers researchers and scholars working on the reception history of Greek and Roman art, architecture, and material culture an interdisciplinary platform for publication and discussion. It thus follows on from the journal ‘Pegasus. Berliner Beiträge zum Nachleben der Antike‘, published between 1999 and 2020.

‘Pegasus. Beiträge zum Nachleben antiker Kunst und Architektur’ is a  new diamond open access journal and, in collaboration with the Heidelberg University Library / arthistoricum.net, offers a PDF edition as well as an XML-based HTML edition enriched with additional information. Printed editions of the issues are also available in bookshops.

The journal is sponsored by the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in Munich.
