„Recovered” architecture. Ernest Niemczyk in an interview with Regina Kulig-Posłuszny

Professor Ernest Niemczyk, an architect, a lecturer emeritus of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology talks to Regina Kulig-Posłuszny about his multifaceted relations with Wrocław, the “recovered” city. His story reveals his attitude towards architecture, German legacy and Polish restoration and rebuilding. Prof. Niemczyk also recalls his childhood in multicultural Cieszyn, his university studies and his relations with the avant-garde artistic milieu, specially vivid in the 70‘s. One of the major strands of the interview is the Wrocław’s contemporary architectural image and its challenges.
