Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text could be double-spaced or 1,5 line spacing; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end. Please, don't use footnotes.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the APA guidelines (Version 7).
- The reviewers are typically not blind regarding the authorship of the manuscript. On special request, blind review of the submitted manuscript can be offered. Please contact one of the editors.
- AI statement: We follow the APA policy on the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in scholarly materials (https://www.apa.org/pubs/journals/resources/publishing-policies). For example, when a generative artificial intelligence (AI) model is used in the drafting of a manuscript for an APA publication, the use of AI must be disclosed in the methods section and cited.
