Abstract

Eulan in Textiles – Danger to Men and Material?
Woolen goods and tissues containing wool were in the past treated to a large extent with Eulan as a protection against attack by moths and beetles. This paper deals with the problems of dangers to human health and damage to materials caused by Eulan of differing composition and by similar products. Furthermore, hints are offered for the analytic determination of active ingredients and for protective measures during the handling of Eulan treated objects. Problems still to be investigated and possible solutions are shown.
