The technical facilities in the former army food storage Berlin-Spandau Levels of significance and example documentation
Technical systems and machines in listed industrial architecture are often not preserved during renovations. Using the example of the technical systems of three listed granaries of a former “Heeresverpflegungsamt” (army food storage) of the Second World War in Berlin-Spandau, different levels of significance of technical cultural heritage are highlighted. Furthermore, possibilities for the systematic documentation of large machines and technical equipment complexes are presented.
