  • The manuscript (a) is written by the authors mentioned in the submission process and (b) does not violate intellectual property of anyone.

  • No ethical principles have been violated. Data collection (if any) has been conducted in accordance with the standards of the Declaration of Helsinki.

  • The manuscript is written and formatted according to the Author guidelines of the Journal of Dynamic Decision Making
  • References to authors' names in the manuscript are replaced by "Author" throughout the manuscript, in order to ensure a blind review process

Author Guidelines

  • JDDM will publish original work – both theoretical and empirical – on the cognitive processes involved in dynamic decision making (DDM). DDM is conceived of as making decisions at multiple points in time with decisions depending on (a) each other and (b) environmental features that may change between decisions. Please refer to the section Focus and Scope for more details about the journal's editorial policies.
  • Submissions should be formatted according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition, 2001).
  • Ethical standards must be fulfilled, especially if human data has been collected. Data collection has to be in accordance with the standards of the Helsinki Declaration.
  • As research should be replicable, we strongly encourage adding all supplementary files necessary for replication studies. Supplementary Files can contain data-sets and research instruments of any kind and in any format.
  • Authors have to register, before they can submit a manuscript.
  • We expect authors (and reviewers, too) to follow the ethical principles formulated by the Committee on Publication Ethics.
