The Bonner Jahrbücher are a scientific platform for archaeological and ancient historical topics of classical archaeology as well as for Rhenish achaeology of all epochs.

The Bonner Jahrbücher issue articles that have been subject to peer review. Good manuscripts in German, English, French, and Italian are always welcome. The reviews are assigned by the editorial staff.

The Bonner Jahrbücher report on the work of the LVR - Amt für Bodendenkmalpflege im Rheinland, the LVR - Landesmuseum Bonn, and the Verein von Altertumsfreunden im Rheinlande.

Open access is granted to the Bonner Jahrbücher three years after printing. The older volumes will be put online step by step
