About the Journal

Construction KIT: a review journal for research tools and data services in the humanities (CKIT) is a new peer-reviewed, open-access journal. The first articles will appear here as soon as they have successfully passed the review process. Each new release will be announced via X (#CKIT).

CKIT understands computational work as an essential infrastructural and intellectual part of humanities research within and outside of the digital humanities field. It strives to extend the tradition of reviews in the humanities to software, and to establish critical engagement with tools and data services as part of scholarly work in the humanities.
