Abstract

Reducing Harmful Gaseous Pollutants in already Existing Showcases
The Thurn and Taxis-Museum in Regensburg is a branch gallery of the Bavarian National Museum Munich. In its treasury, the potential emission of harmful gaseous pollutants was reduced by changing and sealing possibly risky wooden material. All tasks were completed by the in-house workshops of the museum. Therefore budget funds had to be spent only for the purchase of low emission display materials and their testing.
