Abstract

Lithic Artefacts from the Kniegrotte (Saale-Orla-Kreis) in Thuringia

A previously unpublished assemblage of approx. 800 lithic artefacts from the 1930-1938 excavation of the cave-site Kniegrotte is presented. The results supplement the data published so far in two monographs on the lithic operation chain, archaeo- and chronostratigraphical position and reconstruction of activities carried out.
