About the Journal

The online journal HINT – Heidelberg Inspirations for Innovative Teaching, a publication of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Heidelberg University, provides a space for researchers to participate in the international discourse on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning by inviting them to present research about their own teaching. Contributions by faculty and higher education specialists from within Germany and abroad compliment the best practice examples from Heidelberg. These writings, which reflect on teaching and learning from a scholarly perspective, contribute to the professionalization of higher education faculty and support the ongoing exchange of ideas within scientific communities and specific disciplines. The journal is intended to serve as a platform, forum, and inspiration for all who teach in higher education.
