Abstract

This Introduction sets out the context for Session #275 at the 28th Annual Meeting of the EAA 2022 in Budapest (31 Aug-3 Sept), which dealt with the recovery plans for archaeology after the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly all the papers from that Session are published after this Introduction.
