Abstract
Television as an institution makes ist more and more diffi cult for the individual archaeologist to report from his work purposefully. New techniques in the Internet seem to offer a way out here. As seen on various conferences, there is an increasing number of libraries, museums and other scientifi c and cultural institutions, who are supported by the internet. The following essay shall give a short view of these possibilities and some new culture-portals are introduced.
