Abstract

Many people feel close to the Merowingian epoch which is part of our social identity. Additionally, its respective grave finds are suitable for exhibitions. The paper shall provoke a better use of the epistemological and Publicity potential of the Merowingian epoche as before. For this, a more comprehensive approach is needed, as well as the diachronic view.
