Abstract

Media for the teaching of prehistory at German schools are not usually written by archaeologists, but rather by teachers or teacher trainers. Archaeological exhibitions and m u s e u m catalogues may be used as a resource for information and material by authors of schoolbooks, workbook s etc. and by producers of didactic Videos. This article examines the role of museums in this context.
