Abstract

The mesolithic stone artefacts from the surface Site of Hülchrath show a special core reduction sequence as the result of the utilization of " Maasei " flint. The assemblage mainly consists of cores and products of the reductionsequence . The finds indicate a Mesolithic settlement where flint knapping was the main activity.
