As a result, Information on all known archaeological Sites will be provided to the city Council. A strategy for the integration and management of archaeological Sites and historic landscape features within the planning process will be developed. One key element is the digital Sites and monuments record (Zentrale Archäologische Datenbank). This database consists of different units which störe the institution's archaeological knowledge including all kinds of archaeological activities such as Chance finds, survey results,  excavations, aerial photos, listed monuments , and archaeological sites.
The Information concerning sites, historic landscape features, aerial photos, and zones of destruction are linked with spatial data within a GIS for easy assessment and analysis.
