Ein Berufsverband für die Archäologie? Zusammenfassung der Debatten beim World Café auf der DGUF-Tagung am 4. Juli 2017 in Mainz

Abstract

The DGUF conference on 4 July 2017 in Mainz “A professional association for archaeology?” led into a two-hour World Café after the end of the lecture session. The aim was a further joint, more in-depth, non-hierarchical debate of the theme of the conference and the talks whereby all conference delegates would be actively able to take part, and to work out shared opinions which had not been specified or signalled in advance by the conference organisers. This contribution reports on the methodology, the six topics chosen by the delegates themselves, and the ideas and hypotheses worked out in these debates.
