Die Gründung von CIfA Deutschland als Regionalgruppe des Chartered Institute for Archaeologists

Abstract

Following the event of July 4th, 2017 in context of the 9th “Deutsche Archäologiekongress” (Congress of German Archaeology) and the DGUF-Session “Ein Berufsverband für die Archäologie?” in Mainz, the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) announced on 12. February 2018 the official launch of CIfA Deutschland as area group (Regionalgruppe). CIfA Deutschland works is – as all the work of CIfA as professional association - based on the code of conduct and the strict rules of CIfA. The founding-committee members M. Schauer and C. S. Sommer give a statement here what CIfA Deutschland already achieved and what the next projects for CIfA Deutschland are.
