Sharing Heritage in der Wikipedia: Das Internetlexikon und seine Schwesterprojekte als Global Player bei der weltweiten Dokumentation von Kulturgut

Abstract

Wikipedia and its sister projects, in particular Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata, operate internationally due to their structure and staff composition. For years now, one of the priorities is the documentation of cultural structures, which can happen in different forms. Here, various formats have emerged that facilitate the collection and dissemination of information or guide it in useful ways, including "Wiki Loves Monuments", "GLAM on Tour" and "Sum of all Paintings". Especially in a combination of the three projects Wikipedia, Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons a new access for a broad public is created.
