Abstract
In 2001 and 2003, a ‘Dreigötterstein’, two complete Jupiter Columns, and an altar for Jupiter were found in Frankfurt-Heddernheim, Roman Nida, the capital of the civitas Taunensium located on the right bank of the Rhine. All of the monuments bear dedicatory inscriptions, which for the first time are presented and discussed in this paper. The inscription on the ‘Dreigötterstein’ mentions a veteranus named Iulius Eutychianus as dedicant and can be dated to 1st June AD 240. The dedicatory inscription on the larger of the two Jupiter Columns from AD 228 includes the name Marcus Severius Sequens, thus extending our list of certain decurions from Nida. In the course of the presentation of these inscriptions older evidence for decurions of the civitas is also revised.
