Abstract
This article deals with the restructuring in Bavarian schools, especially secondary schools and after-school learning sites, through which the prerequisites for attendance have changed. Various possibilities and potential of after-school learning sites to keep up the interest in schools are explored and listed. In addition, selected Bavarian museum concepts are presented, thereby approaching the goal of holistic education.
