Abstract

The conference NEUES SEHEN. Aktuelle Ansätze der Digitalen Archäologie in der Objekt- und Bildwissenschaft (NEUES SEHEN. Current approaches to object and image studies in digital archaeology), held at the University of Trier, 20.–22.05.2022, explored the potential of digital tools and methods applied to archaeological objects and imagery. This fourth part of the conference proceedings discusses the potential of digital archaeology for the inter-institutional exchange between university, museum and the state agency responsible for monument protection and preservation, with special focus on the city of Trier (session 4 of the conference).
