The conference NEUES SEHEN. Aktuelle Ansätze der Digitalen Archäologie in der Objekt- und Bildwissenschaft, organized by Elisabeth Günther and Sascha Schmitz at the University of Trier (20.-22.05.2022), was dedicated to the potentials of digital applications and methods in the scientific examination of archaeological (image) objects. The introduction presents the structure and content of the conference.
